TRAVEL INFORMATION FOR THE SEMI FINAL: FREE TRAVEL TO THE MATCH ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Fans are urged to leave the car at home and catch public transport instead with travel on all modes included in your ticket to the T20 World Cup Semi Final match. For all the details you need to plan your trip visit, transportnsw.info .

Trains run regularly to the city where you can connect with frequent light rail services to Moore Park from the City or South East. The Moore Park light rail stop is located a short walk across from the stadium. Plenty of regular route buses also make stops along Anzac Pde and Oxford St nearby. Services will be busier than usual as commuters travel home so allow extra travel time. See the TfNSW Moore Park transport map to find your way.

Make a night of it and arrive early if you can to avoid delays during the busy evening peak. There’s plenty of local venues within walking distance of the stadium. From Central Station it’s a 25 minute walk to the Moore Park precinct via Foveaux St or Devonshire St and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway.

DRIVING AND PARKING

If you have to drive, allow plenty of extra travel time on the roads as traffic will be heavy in the area. Plan to arrive early as parking is limited and will fill quickly. Nearby parking is available at the Entertainment Quarter Wilson car park, grass car parks on Driver Avenue and Sydney Boys & Girls High car park off Cleveland Street. You can find real-time traffic conditions at livetraffic.com .

Driver Avenue will be partially closed outside the stadium before each match and will reopen once crowds have safely cleared the area. No through-traffic will be available on Driver Avenue, however access to EP2 Kippax car park will be maintained via Moore Park Road and access to EP3 grass car park and drop off areas maintained from Lang Road. See our Moore Park transport map (pdf 435KB) to find your way.

To support the Moore Park Road pop up cycleway, there is no left-turn permitted from Lang Road onto Moore Park Road westbound. Motorists can use Cook Road for access onto Moore Park Road instead.

SPECIAL EVENT CLEARWAYS

Clearways are strict no-parking zones and apply even to local residents or Mobility Scheme Permit holders. Check signs before parking as vehicles left in special event clearways will be towed and a towing fee applies. Visit Live Traffic NSW to see the locations of special event clearways.

TAXI AND RIDE SHARING

The closest taxi rank is located on Errol Flynn Boulevard (near the Hordern Pavilion). For details of taxi networks servicing the Sydney area, visit Transport Operators.

If you’re using rideshare to get to the game, use Errol Flynn Boulevard or Driver Avenue for drop off locations. After the game, roads in the immediate area of the stadium are expected to be busy so consider a pick up location outside of the precinct.

CYCLING

Moore Park, Centennial Park and the surrounding areas boast some of the most picturesque cycleways in Sydney and is one of the most cycle-friendly public spaces in the city. Cyclists will find many bike racks in convenient locations along Driver Avenue in Moore Park and all pathways in Moore Park are shared footpath/cycleways.
